Rosary Mary Perkins

Rosary Mary Perkins 91 of Oberlin passed away at her daughters home on August 25 2017.  She was born Oct. 20 1925 in South Chicago & lived her adult life in Elyria & Oberlin. Rosary was married to her late husband  Wendell B. Perkins  for 32 years.  Rosary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oberlin, American Legion Auxiliary, Elyria Elks Club, VFW & local AARP Chapter. She was an officer in the FCSLA & an editor for the Senior Chatterbox Newsletter. Rosary enjoyed travel, swimming,crocheting, knitting & family time.  She is survived by her 4 daughters JoAnn Fox Arvada, Co, Lynda (David) Gingery-Jacobs Apollo Beach, Fl., Lorna (David) Gibson Oberlin,  Wendy (Randy) Watson Cheyenne, Wy, 7 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John & Mary Remar, 2 brothers Alan & John Remar.  There will be a Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oberlin Friday Sept. 8 2017 at 11am with Father Robert Cole officiating.  Private family burial in Brookdale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church & Crossroads Hospice.
