Mildred J Tallhamer

Mildred J. Tallhamer 86 of Oberlin passed away March 16 2017 at New Life Hospice Center in Lorain after a long illness.  She was born on Sept. 27 1930 in Coal Run, Ohio.  Mildred was a member of Crossroads Community Church of Oberlin & she enjoyed needle point, camping, puzzles, baking, flower gardening, watching the Cleveland Indians & spending time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her Husband Robert L. Tallhamer I of Oberlin, Daughter Violet Johnson of Lorain, 3 Sons Clarence (Loretta) Kilzer Bartow, Fl., Kevin (Mona) Kilzer of Seville & Robert L. (Gail) Tallhamer II of Elyria. 5 Grandchildren & multiple Great Grandchildren, Brother Ralph Dobbins of Coal Run, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents Walter & Violet Dobbins, 1 brother & 8 sisters.  Visitaion will be Tuesday March 21 2017 from 6-8pm at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin. Services will be Wednesday March 22 2017 at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Santo Dabila of Crossroads Community Church officiating. Burial will be in New Russia Twp.
