Jeanne Gerber

Jeanne Gerber 92 of Oberlin passed away January 10 2018 at Welcome Nursing Home after a short illness. She was the first baby born in Oberlin's Allen Hospital.  She worked as a clerk for Watson Hardware for many years & volunteered at Allen Memorial Hospital.  Jeanne is survived by her son, Thomas (Judy) Gerber of Kipton;  daughters, Deborah (Greg) White of North Ridgville, Marsha (John) Messervey of Lake Forest, Ill, Nancy Vengrow of Flagler Beach, Fl., Judy Gerber (Rob Smith) of Gahana, Ohio; 12 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband Kenneth W. Gerber, son Douglas Gerber,  parents, 1 brother Bud Cole, son in law Jeff Vengrow.  There will be a visitation Monday January 15 2018 from 4-6pm at the Cowling Funeral Home with services on Tuesday at 11am in the funeral home.
