Jane C. Hodgen

Jane C. Hodgen 90 of Oberlin passed away suddenly at home on Sept. 24 2017.  Jane was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on July 16 1927. She worked as a custodian for Oberlin College for many years.  She enjoyed watching tennis, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.  Jane is survived by 4 duaghters Linda (Bill) Hodge, Mary Jane Rogers, Patty (Russell) Boyd & Allison Washington, son Byron (Sharon) Brown Sr., 9 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Muriel Brown, husband Woody Hodgen, 7 brothers & 4 sisters.  There will be a graveside servcie in Westwood Cemetery Thursday October 12 2017 at 11am.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
