Frances Carmenctia (Moore) Filko

Frances Carmencita Filko (Moore) 86 of Oberlin passed away March 27th, 2017 at Mercy Hospital of Lorain surrounded by her family.  She was born in Akron, Ohio to Robert E Moore and Rose A (Scheller) Moore. 

Frances Graduated from Springfield Township High School.  She was a long time resident of Oberlin, a member of Calvary Baptist of Oberlin, she served as a secretary of the Senior Center in Oberlin and volunteered at Allen Hospital.  She loved reading, knitting, crosswords, spending time with family and people in general.  

She is prceded in dealth by her parents and her husband Jerry Martin Filko.  She is survived by her daughters Francie (Mickey) Bulgrin of Akron, Jackie Filko of Lorain, Carole (Brian) Kenyon of Oberlin and son Jerry Filko of Lorain and 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.  

Memorial sevice will be help at Calvary Baptist of Oberlin on April 8th at 11:00am, all are invited to join us for a luncheon after the service.
