Elizabeth I. (Johnie) Murray

Elizabeth I. (Johnie) Murray 74 of Elyria passed away at University Hospital in Elyria on January 21 2018 after a short illness. Born in  Fairview Park, Ohio on  March 7 1943 Elizabeth graduated from North Ridgville High in 1961, also graduating from Lorain Community College in 1991.  Elizabeth retired from Elyria Memorial Hospital in 2013 after 22 years  as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking photos, rock hounding, working on family geneology and going to the casino.  She is survived by husband of 36 years Terry Murray sons Christopher (Pamela) Woehrman & Jeffrey (Pamela) Murray, daughters Cynthia (Robert) Kofron & Annette (Brett) Carter, 10 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grandchildren, sisters Lena (Frank) Rodachy, Margaret Burgos, Kathy (Wally) Marlett, Donna Stone and Debra Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy & Gladys Stone, son William Woerman and a brother William Stone.  There will be a visitation from 6-8pm Wednesday January 24 2018 at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with services on Thursday January 25 2018 at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Roy Stone officiating.
