Dorothy Lee Gregory

Dorothy L. Gregory 88 of Oberlin passed away at Allen Mercy Hospital on December 22 2017.  She was born in Barbourville, Ky. on July 8 1929.  Dorothy worked in Housekeeping for the Oberlin Inn for 17 years retiring in 1983. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin, Sister of Wisdom & served on the Usher & Missionary Boards. She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts & was an avid sports fan. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She is survived by her 5 children Michael Gregory, Carolyn Thomas, Mary Katherine Jones, Linda Gregory & Imogene Johnson, 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Brother Ed White Jr. & a host of nieces & nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her Husband Royal Gregory, parents Edward & Mayme Gregory Sr., Daughter Sandra Gregory, Sister Mary Gregory & Brothers Charles, Samuael & Kenneth White.  Visitation will be from 10am until Services at 11am Friday January 5 2018 at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with Rev.
