Donald A Bartholomew

Donald Bartholomew, age 88 passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home after a long battle with cancer.  Born in Oberlin on May 24, 1928 to the late Claire & Mary (Jordan) Bartholomew.  

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 4/1951 to 4/1053.  He worked as a sales Manager for Parsons Jersey Dairy for over 25 years, worked as a Service Manager at Schubert's Buick in Oberlin before moving to Columbus.  He lived in Columbus for 31 years working as a car salesman.  Retiring at the age of 72.  

He enjoyed watching sports especially the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.  

Survivors incllude his wife of 62 years, Maxine M. Bartholomew, his daughter & Son in Law. Debra & Michael Youngless, his son & daughter in law, Allen & Kimberly Bartholomew, 3 grandchildren- Jennifer Novak(Bobby), Eric Youngless (Crystal) and Mardi Bartholomew, 6 great grandchildren- Natalie, Morgan, Kendall& Tessa Novak and Tyler Caiden Youngless.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Claire & Mary (Jordan) Bartholomew and his sister, Florence (Bartholomew) Bligh.
