Pearl L. Owen

Pearl L Owen 93 formally of Oberlin passed away at Wesleyan Village in Elyria March 22 2017. She was born in Oberlin on April 16 1923.  Pearl worked as a telephone operator & housekeeper for Oberlin College for many years.  Pearl lived in Florida for over 30 years & enjoyed working in the Key store down in Florida. She also enjoyed golf, sewing, horseback riding & bowling.  Pearl is survived by her 3 Daughters Susan Siglan, Dorothy (Louis) Silhavy & Donna Thompson, 6 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren & 9 Great Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Homer & Ethel Bailey, 4 Brothers Earl, Floyd, Robert & William Bailey & 1 Sister Elizabeth Fly.  There will be a gathering of family & friends at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin on Sunday April 9 2017 from 2-4pm.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
