Lester J. Mason Jr.

Lester J. Mason Jr. 62 of Oberlin passed away suddenly on July 3 2017 at Allen Mercy Hospital of Oberlin. He was born December 13 1954 in Oberlin. Lester was a member of Rust United Methodist Church of Oberlin & served as a Trustee of the Church.  He enjoyed photography, BBQing, computer games and spending time with his family & friends.  Lester is survived by his wife Rose M. Mason of Oberlin, daughter Andra Mason of Oberlin, Special nephew Lorenzo Davis of Ashtabula, Ohio, Brother Lester Baclay of Chicago, sister Leslene Lofties of Ft. Knox, Ky, Aunt Minnie Isom of Oberlin & a host of nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lester Sr. & Viola Mason.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am at Rust United Methodist Church of Oberlin  with Pastor Stanley Miller officiating.  Private family burial will be held at a  later date.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
