Larry L. Workman 67 of Oberlin passed away at the Elms Nursing home in Wellington after a long illness.  He was born in Taylorville, W.V. on April 30 1950.  He worked as a laborer for Ford Motor Co. for 38 years retiring in 2008.  Larry attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorain & was a member of U.A.W. #425. Larry enjoyed hunting, working on cars, gardening, watching football & NASCAR.  He is survived by is wife Bonita S. Workman of Oberlin, daughter Michelle (Ted) Spillman of Amherst, 2 granddaughters Reece & Rylie Spillman of Amherst, 3 sisters Katie Swain of Swansboro, N.C. Cherry Hobbs of Capecarteret, N.C. & Mary Jo Fields of Amherst, 1 brother Scott Workman of Swansboro, N.C..  He was preceded in death by his parents Claude & Alta Workman.  There will be a visitation from 10am until a prayer service at 11am on July 12 2017 at the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin  with pastor Orlando Collazo from Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. There will be a private family burial at a later date.  In liue of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
